Welcome to Nurtured by Nature Outdoor Exploratory School for ages 4-7! We are excited to provide a play-based, immersive learning experience that nurtures the whole child. Our flexible schedules offer various options to fit your family's needs with programs designed to engage young minds through exploration and creativity. Join us for a fun-filled adventure where your child can thrive in nature and make lasting memories! We have three types of programs available: School Year, Seasonal Sessions, and Summer Session
School Year Enrollment - Limited spots available!
Join us in our school-year program, where your child can thrive in a consistent program designed for growth and learning. Enrollment is open for our school-year program, meaning that as long as there is availability and your child meets the age requirements, they can join at any time. Enrolling secures your child's spot and ensures priority access to future programs and our popular summer camp. Additionally, enjoy exclusive discounts with The Outdoor Shop for all your outdoor gear needs, making adventures more accessible and fun!
Students enrolled in our school-year program gain essential skills such as confidence, leadership, and autonomy of place and space. These skills allow children to navigate their surroundings with ease. Our flexible enrollment process ensures that every child has the opportunity to grow and thrive in a supportive environment. FULL DAY
2,3 or 5 days a week, 8:30/9:00 am - 2:45/3:00 pm
HALF DAY (am only)

Seasonal Sessions
Discover our Seasonal Sessions, designed for families eager to explore the forest school model. This program offers a shorter commitment without compromising on fun. It is ideal for part-time preschool or kindergarten students who crave more outdoor, child-led play. It's a fantastic choice for winter birthdays, allowing kids to engage with peers before traditional schooling starts in August. Additionally, homeschool families can enhance their child's social and tactile learning experience through these enriching sessions. Seasonal Sessions are only available in the mornings, but we are open to discussing afternoon options. Please feel free to reach out with further questions.

Spring
Spring Session: Registration is now open!

​Registration is not complete until you make a $100 deposit and receive a welcome letter from us. Additional paperwork may be required. ​
Summer Session
Summer will be divided into four two-week sessions. Families can choose one, two, three, or four sessions and may register consecutively or intermittently. Sessions 1 and 2 will utilize natural areas near the Rocky Mountain Greenway Trail in Arvada, and Sessions 3 and 4 will use natural areas in the Wheat Ridge Green Belt

$400 per half-day session
