​Welcome to Nurtured by Nature Outdoor Exploratory School, an all outdoor program for ages 4-7! We offer play-based learning that nurtures the whole child. Our flexible schedules provide fun programs in nature, including School Year, Seasonal, and Summer options!

SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM
Join our school-year program, where your child can grow and thrive in a consistent, supportive environment. Enrollment is open year-round for children who meet the age requirements, as space allows. Enrolling secures your child’s spot and gives priority access to future programs and our popular summer camp. Families also receive exclusive discounts with The Outdoor Shop for outdoor gear.
Students in our school-year program build confidence, leadership, and a strong sense of place, helping them navigate their surroundings with ease. Our flexible enrollment process gives every child the chance to learn, grow, and flourish

Seasonal Sessions
Discover our Seasonal Sessions—perfect for families exploring the forest school model. This shorter program still offers plenty of fun and is ideal for part-time preschool or kindergarten students seeking more outdoor, child-led play. It’s also a great option for winter birthdays, helping children connect with peers before traditional school begins in August. Homeschool families can also enrich their child’s social and hands-on learning through these sessions. Please reach out with any questions.

Summer Session 2026
Summer will be divided into three two-week sessions. Families can choose one, two, or three sessions and may register consecutively or intermittently. Additionally, there will be a one-week session offered in mid-August. Participants can elect half days or full days. Half-day programs run from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Full day programs run from9:00 amm - 3:00pm. While we are still solidifying our summer locations, we will be in natural Areas in Arvada and Wheat Ridge.
